Our next event…
At The OLYMPUS in Bolton on 18th June, local “Boltonians” and well respected professional “special occasion hair stylist”, Emma Hughes, along with her friend Carol Jane Turner, are holding a charity fundraising dinner in aid of two causes very close to their heart. The Fire Fighter Charity and also Macmillan Nurses.
Macmillian Nurses are a vital resource that is vastly underfunded and needs every bit of help possible. Carol is particularly passionate about this cause because Macmillan Nurses attended to the needs and medication of her father in his end days.
Emma’s dad was Bolton fire fighter who sadly died on duty putting out grass fires. The families of all fire fighters are understandably supportive of the national Fire Fighter’s Charity, as these are the brave men and women who put their lives on the line, for the protection and safety of us on a daily basis.
